CSCAT, the combined services culinary arts team, will be off to Germany next week. From the 18th to the 23rd of October 2008, they will be competing in the IKA International Culinary Olympics. And will be using Thermoboxes both to carry products to Germany and for food transport during the event. The combined services team, as the name suggests, is made up of chefs and cooks from all three military services. The team need to be sure that all food is kept at suitable temperatures not only for reasons of food safety but also to stop delicate products being exposed to warmth during transport during the event.
